The event will feature presentations by Doctorow and Spooky, followed by an joint open-forum discussion about their work and related issues. Spooky will be spinning at the after-party.

That being the case, we would like to address the question of whether or not there is still a meeting taking place.

The answer is a loud, boisterous “yes!” The meeting is always on the first Friday of the month, regardless of other events it conflicts with.

We realize that many may not wish to spend the holiday at the meeting, but for those of us who will, we have decided to make a night of it. After the meeting, we shall investigate some celebration options. Current discussions with a few regulars have suggested viewing the fireworks, but once there we can investigate any options that come to us.

Whether you’re staying home, coming with us, or doing something else entirely, have a great holiday!
