Where: Citigroup Center, 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue
Why: To eat food, do stuff, and tell inflated stories of our most recent convention season misadventures.

Our next NYC2600 meeting happens to fall on the Fourth of July, Independence day. That being the case, we would like to address the question of whether or not there is still a meeting taking place.
The answer is a loud, boisterous “yes!” The meeting is always on the first Friday of the month, regardless of other events it conflicts with.
We realize that many may not wish to spend the holiday at the meeting, but for those of us who will, we have decided to make a night of it. After the meeting, we shall investigate some celebration options. Current discussions with a few regulars have suggested viewing the fireworks, but once there we can investigate any options that come to us.
Whether you’re staying home, coming with us, or doing something else entirely, have a great holiday!

We’re pleased to announce that the latest contributions to our archive of meeting photos have pushed the total image count past its first thousand.
Featuring pictures ranging from excruciatingly mundane blurs taken with a drugstore disposable camera to once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities captured with horrifyingly expensive pro-grade equipment, our archive documents familiar and fondly-remembered faces and events from various NYC2600 meetings and associated adventures spanning the past eight years. We’re always happy to add to the past and present archives, and welcome all applicable contributions to the galleries.

Inspired by some recent events and inquiries, I’ve decided to write an article to answer some common issues surrounding the press and others who wish to observe our meetings. There isn’t much there yet, since it’s just a starter page, written during a burst of insomnia at stupid o’clock in the morning.
Any advice, criticism, and contributions would be appreciated! Please share your thoughts.
